Class Piano Resources

Level Four Class Piano (MFB 2120) is one of the five sections of Class Piano offered in the Secondary Class Piano sequence. Prerequisites include:

- completion of Level III Secondary Piano (MFB 2110; MAB 2110)

Students placed in Level Four Class Piano after taking the entrance placement examination are usually advanced in their study of piano and are a candidate for taking the Piano Proficiency Examination.

If you are planning to take the Piano Proficiency Exam at the end of the semester, you MUST be registered for MUG 2010 in order to take the exam.

The jury part of the Piano Proficiency Exam is scheduled for Friday, May 6 beginning at 9:00 a.m. A signup sheet will be posted on the Piano Bulletin Board across the hall from John Arnn's office. The required packet of examples can be downloaded from this site the day before the Exam on Thursday, May 5.
