Performance note: Play the final E in the Right Hand (measure 16, beat 4) loud enough so that it sustains to the end. THEN, decrescendo the Left Hand such that you can hear the Right Hand E all the way to the end.

IMPORTANT: The natural DECAY of a SUSTAINED note on a piano is the model that should be used for a decrescendo (it's a logarithmic curve if you want to measure it).
