Entrance Placement Interview

All entering students (both freshmen and transfers) are required to participate in an Entrance Placement Interview to determine a proper level of piano study. Placement interviews are traditionally given during the summer as part of the "Towering Traditions" or on Monday before classes begin.

If you are a transfer student and have passed a Piano Proficiency Exam at another college or university, that is no guarantee that you will automatically be placed out of Secondary Piano. You will still have to undergo a Placement Interview and may have to take one or more semesters of piano in order to pass Belmont's Piano Proficiency Exam.

Contact Dr. Sharon Gregg for more detailed information at 615-460-6408.
