Theory Tests

Here is a link to the application form for the NAMTA Theory Tests scheduled for Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Belmont University, School of Music, Wilson Music Building.  Specific locations (rooms) will be posted the day of the tests.

Students who want to be eligible for the NAMTA Honors Recitals and/or the state competitions in June must take the required number of theory tests and participate in the Performance Auditions in March. Grades. K-2 are exempt from the theory tests, but the entry fees must be paid by the theory deadline - see below.

The deadline for submitting the theory tests application form is 11:00 pm January 7, 2012.  Only TEACHERS may submit the form, NOT parents or students.  If you have questions, please contact Vicki King (phone # in current NAMTA Directory).
