Corresponding Secretary -- Description of Duties:

I. Sends correspondence as directed by the President:

A. Sends cards as needed to members (greeting, get well, sympathy, etc.)

B. Sends congratulations to students and teachers (state, regional, and national auditions winners, or other outstanding achievements.

C. Coordinates with the vice-president to send notes of appreciation to members and guests who participate on programs.

II. Keeps on file copies of letters sent and/or received during the year. Reports to executive board any correspondence.

III. Attends NAMTA executive board meetings.

 

Historian -- Description of Duties:

I. Maintains current and past documents, records, scrapbooks, etc. for the organization:

A. Files copies of monthly programs for the current year.

B. Collects two additional copies of programs throughout the year, and sends them to the TMTA immediate past president by the June convention; one copy is for TMTA and one copy is for MTNA. This specifically includes and programs involving musical performance.

C. Files pictures of NAMTA activities. Labels pictures with dates and names on the back or margin; standard size folders/notebooks are suggested for storing materials.

II. Attends NAMTA executive board meetings.
